Locate the alarm power wire and trace it from the alarm to the power source it is connected to and remove the fuse from the line or cut the line. If that resolves the problem the alarm is at fault. If it doesn't locate the kill switch and replace it.

Left side headlamp would work on low beam

Hi,
Looks like the headlight relay problem or the main switch.
Check the headlight relay by interchanging similar relay on the relay box, turn on the head light switch when doing that.
If the relay is still in good condition, the problem would be the headlight switch combination, that's the usual problem of Nissan, the metal contactors melted down the plastic cam that pushes the metal contact. Replace it if that is the problem.
Clean also the headlight bulb base contact, there might only be a mis contact of bulb.
Hope that FixYa helps you out!

My 1987 Nissan 300ZX has

Hi,
The potential causes of this behavior are multiple.

You will need to bring this car to a mechanic to have the error codes read from the ECU. Any errors stored will immediately point to the cause of the warning lights illuminating on the dash.
Autozone will perform a scan for free - however because your Nissan is a 1987 there are different methods of retrieving codes from these earlier cars which use a much older style of error recording. You will need to check with them first if they have this equipment.
A Nissan dealer of course will be able to do this for you without any trouble. One way to save some money on this is to have the dealer do the diagnostic scan then once the cause is pointed out have the work carried out by an independent mechanic or do it yourself.
Hope this helps. Please do leave a vote for the solution. Many thanks.

For this issue, have the evaporator cooling unit cleaned. The reason why it doesn't blow hard is the dust and dirt are covering the evaporator cooling unit. The dirt and dust are also very harmful to the cooling unit. Have it cleaned and you will see the difference. Hope this helps.

The direct answer is yes......but!

Unless you are a skilled welder, don't attempt this.

Get a really good welder to have a look at the condition of the metal before making any attempt to weld.

I believe some jurisdictions will not allow this type of repair to be made, so you might want to check you state and / or local inspection requirements.

At all costs, BE SAFE WITH THIS!!!
