Check the fuse and/or the motor brushes on fan motor. U can check for continuity on fan contacts and be guided accordingly. If you have continuity, the problem does not lie with the fan motor.

HI, There is a problem with your tail lamp assemblies. Mercedes has recognized the problem and came out with a safety recall for this situation. Check with your local dealer to see if they are covered under warranty.

Sounds like you have a leak and water will cause issues such as this. Have your car checked for leaks.
