A good engine shouldn't burn more than a quart every 1000 mi. So, 400 mi. is kind of bad as far as engines go. Probably the oil is blowing by the rings and/or there is a seal leak somewhere. The oil has got to go somewhere whether it leaks out or burns in the combustion chamber.

Maybe you could try a high mileage oil that burns off less easily.

You have to check that bulbs are as specified , as even if its working but out of specs would cause that problem. Second thing is to check the electrical module in the front and relays to make sure all is working well. It would be a good idea to have it diagnosed professionally as this type of Mercedes has a complicated electrical system.

if the alarm have sensitivity setting you might want adjust it

Remove battery, clamp both battery leads together for 5 minutes. reconnect battery (positive first) gives vehicle computer hard reset. Then perform key reset as factory handbook.

This could very well be activated by the charging system if it in fact has an issue. The charging system would create the "visit workshop" light to be activated. Worst case on the tyres, the dealer may have to calibrate or reflash the unit which monitors the system. It will not be a hard fix.

Sunflower Hi...My ESP light is on and while I am driving my wheels lock. What could this be?
