Turns over wont start

It sounds like there is no pressure in the fuel rail. The cause is the fuel pump is not working. I had one like that and the pump was running but not pumping. Check to see if the FP is putting out. Good luck.

Turns over but wont start

is this diesel or petrol.if diesel then look to your fuel pump.under it is a plug .remove this and drain what will be water on the bottom of it.only a small amount then refit.now pump the fuel up to it is very hard .then get someone to turn the engine over .as you keep pumping should then start.that is done due to air in the system. if petrol you need a spark plug tester.check the coil has a spark .then check the leads at the spark plugs are getting a spark .then check the plugs for a spark .smell them .do you smell fuel on them .if so change the plugs.

2000 chevy s-10 won't crank.

I's hard to tell from your description what is going on with your vehicle but from what I gather it may be the ignition switch. When it does it again, you'll need a volt meter and someone to give you a hand to check it. Start by having someone hold the key in the start position and start at the starter solenoid checking the voltage. You know you'll have power from the battery (or you should) but check all sources, 12 volts positive on the big post at solenoid and with the key in the start position 12 volts at the switch side as well. If you are getting 12 volts at the big terminal but not the switch (small) terminal, then start tracking back from there. You can track it back all the way to the ignition switch. It shouldn't be hard to find the problem. If you know how to use a volt meter, there is no reason to replace parts. Most all electrical parts can be tested to see if they are good or bad. You can also check the ground sources as you go as well, start at the battery and see what your volt reading is and go from there. You shouldn't have much variance in the voltage on positive or ground. Hope this helps you.

2003 Chevy S10 won't start

Are you sure its the starter? did you try it in neutral? could be park neutral switch, or ignition switch, or if its a standard shift maybe it has a switch on clutch that it has to be depressed to start and its bad. As far as jump starting you cross the maine or big post on starter to small or little post on starter to do that, on a v6 starter it on the right side under exhaust manafold, and i think its on the same side on a 4 cyl.

My 2000 s10 was running rough and idled crappy, revved it and it was fine afterwards, what could cause this?

Just an educated guess, but most people either don't know or forget about changing their primary fuel filter. it should be changed ever 50,000 miles. There's a good chance that your truck is starving for fuel. It can be found under the truck either on or near the frame and looks like a tin can. Remove your gas cap to relieve the presure before trying to replace it and be careful when you're breaking the fuel lines loose, not to get any fuel in your eyes. Good luck!

S10 problems

Several things can cause this problem. Poor tune-up, Throttle position sensor, MAP Sensor, MAF Sensor. You'll have to do a process of elimination to get to the heart of the problem. Sorry couldn't be of more help. But do also check that you don't have a severe vacuum leak.

Clutch wont disengage when I push the clutch

do you feel normal pressure under your foot. it can be a couple of thing. check if the master cylinder has fluid in it .check for fluid inside the cab high up on the clutch pedal.then the master is leaking.but most common would be the slave cylinder on the side of the transmission.peel back the dust cover if fluid leaks out replace.
