Remove screw from inside door grab handle. Remove door panel by carefully prying out plastic clips. Drill or chisel off pop rivets holding the handle on. Pull handle out far enough to disconnect linkage and remove handle. Install new handle and secure to metal panel with new pop rivets or sheet metal screws. It may be easier to reconnect linkages by removing the metal panel also.

If you have the manual transfer case (lever actuated), use DEXRON-III Automatic Transmission Fluid. If you have an automatic transfer case (push button actuated), you should use the fluid that GM recommends. Some owners' manuals may say to use Automatic Transfer Case Fluid (GM Part No. 12378396), which is a reddish colored fluid. GM has a new Auto Trak II Transfer Case Fluid (GM Part No. 12378508), which has a bluish color to it. The newer fluid has better friction modifiers. While your doing the job, it's a good idea to change the drain and fill plugs (GM Part No. 15032997) out too.

You could try cycling the ignition switch on and off several times before you crank it. If it helps check the fuel system. The spider fuel system is noted for problems. Key on engine off, 60--66 psi fuel pressure.

You should have a check engine light on. You can have codes read at most parts store for free. Sluggishness at WOT usually results from carbon buildup in engine. Usually the result of NOT changing oil regular. But the scanner will give better insight. Possible causes are, but not limited to, carbon buildup, clogged egr valve, ignition timing. The scan will isolate cause. Bad distributor also possibility.

Do you have live data on your scan tool? If so, what are the fuel trims and O2 sensor readings? Do NOT start throwing parts at this.

No, the fuel regulator from a 96 will not fit a 98. The 98 is a vortec and i believe the 96 is TBI. You are on the right track though, but the fuel regulator is attached to the fuel injector spider and is one unit inside the upper intake. It is relative easy to replace just takes some time.

Remove caliper and rotor, spindle pull out axle replace seal.the reverse process.

Crank sensor ? Power an grounds for the VCM engine computer . CHECKED ALL THE FUSES 3X ,What's this ??? Five volt reference voltage circuit in VCM , Did you check this ? If the failed units show wear at the sensor end, clearance may be the problem. Another cause can be the wiring from the sensor to the ECM - very important not to have it close to any of the ignition wiring.

Low fan speeds go thru the ignition switch - only the high speed is directly connected to the fan motor. ?so to fix that dilemma you need a new ignition switch. Could also be the source of your other issues.

Sounds like your ignition switch is shorted, best way to check is by removing and looking for burnt signs or smell.

You need to take the diff apart and remove the broken pioion gear.

First make sure someone did not replace the transfer case with a manual shift transfer case. If not you have what mechanics call "GHOSTS" there is a miscomunication somewhere between the button and the relay this will take time to trace down get a good multimeter and a wiring diagram.

look on the inside of the handle and there should be a 10mm bolt in one of the corners.Undo the bolt and the rest will be self explanatory
