I have a 2007 Chevy Suburban LT. Front windshield wipers and washer work fine, but rear washer does not dispense fluid (wipers work, however).
Rear washer may have it's own reservoir . Can you hear a pump humming when you activate the washer? Look in the under flooor compartment

I am changing the fuel pressure regulator on a 1997 Suburban 5.7L engine. After pulling off the upper intake manifold to expose the fuel pressure regulator, I found no vacuum line attached. Where does this vacuum line come from that attaches the the fuel pressure regulator?
another engineers wet dream. think of it this way . what is normally in the intake when the engine is running.. answer vacume, hence the regulator gets its vacume without a hose connected to it as its already in a full time vacume chamber.no hose required . ps be carefull to seat the regulator and o rings securely into the housing befor you reattach the secureing metal clip.
good luck chris

My 1999 Suburban is blowing warm air from the front vents and cold air in the rear vents when the A/C is on. It has plenty of freon. Any advice on how to cool down the front?
The car uses the same freon in the front as it does in the rear. If the rear a/c is working, you either have a plugged evaporator in the front unit, or perhaps a bad heater switch. Try switching the heater to hot and see if it blows even warmer air from the front vents. If so, the heater switch is working and then it sounds like a plugged evaporator or maybe a plugged orifice tube. That is a good place to start looking. Hope this helps.

I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban 1500 with a 5.7L engine and 4L60e transmission. The transmission doesn't go into gear when first placed in Drive or 3rd. I have to place it in 1st or 2nd gear and manually shift up to Drive the first time I start down the road. Once I've shifted up to Drive the transmission downshifts and upshifts normally from stops until I place it in Park or Reverse. If I shift into Park or Reverse then I must go through the manual shifting again. Also, if I don't get to 4th gear before I stop, I must go through the manual shifting again. This happens whether the transmission is hot or cold. I've read several forums searching for an answer but the symptoms described while similar aren't exactly like mine. I don't know whether it would be a broken front sprag, a bad solenoid or a faulty connection. Any ideas? Thanks!
How many miles? Have you maintained, serviced trans in past or just waited for this day to wonder what happened?
