Sounds like the car is in "limp mode". This can be caused by a sensor malfunction in the transmission or a transmission failure of some sort. If turning on and off doesn't reset it, you will need to seek help to do a proper evaluation of the problem.

Ya need to reset the computer, easy said than done tho. take it down to the dealer and git them to do it fer ya. Probably cost ya around $20 to have it done.

You need to check the fan on the radiator. Also check the nozzles for the input and output from the radiator. If the nozzle at the radiator inlet is not hot, then the problem is in the cooling system. If the nozzle from the radiator is hot, then the problem is in the radiator. Be careful not to burn yourself.

You are right. The transmission filter should be changed every 60,000 miles. While the pan is off for filter change, add one bottle of Lucas Transmission conditioner into the pan. Reinstall pan and refill with Dextron II fluid. Torque converter is OK.

May need to take it to a car electronics specialist, it may be something broken that only will come up when doing a diagnostic test

take to to an accredited radiator shop instead of the mechanic as it has a suspect failure of the top plastic tank they have a habit of cracking around the cap area or along the edge where is is crimped back to the cores a pressure test will reveal the crack the fix is by two methods the tank is removed and a new tank fitted-- I never recommend that as it is almost as expensive as a new radiator and the bottom tank is also plastic and will be close to failure also, the radiator after 5 years will also have possible core blockages and that is not possible to clear out or you can fit a new radiator and eliminate the problems for not much more that the cost of the previous fix
