sounds like your mechanic is just a oil changer and not a skilled technician, your Ac system needs draining on a proper machine and the amount of gas recovered weighed, then a vacumn and a additive for stop leaks added with some leak dye and the system regassed and this vehicle if the same as a nissan cargo or serena with rear AC unit should hold somewhere around 1.4 kilos of R134 gas ,note its in kilos not lbs and this is by weight not one of them cans from the local wallmart connected to the inlet port ,then when the gas is added check the pump pressure with the machine on the high pressure port ,then close the valve and allow the inlet port to draw the gas back into the system then when machine is disconnect you check the amount of gas on a recovery to make sure all the gas went into the vehicle if more than 20 grms recovered from the machine then allow it to draw some more in via the inlet port .

Hi, your fuel pump may be failing. You can check the pump by removing the clamp from where the fuel line attaches to the fuel rail. Pull the hose off to see if there is fuel pressure there. If no pressure, check to see if you can hear the pump coming on when you turn the key on. If the pump is coming on, it's probably bad, but you may want to try cahanging the filter before getting a new pump. If the pump is not coming on, try checking the pump fuse first, then try swapping the fuel pump relay to see if it will come on. Please get back to me if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.
