1995 nissan altima se fans not working

95 NISSAN ALTIMA TURNS OVER WONT START AIR FILTER SMOKING
Its probably back-firing in the intake - which means it is firing early or the fuel mixture is very lean. This engine uses a distributor cap and rotor, so I would start there and make sure the cylinders are firing correctly. If the ignition checks out ok, it could be a problem with the cam timing.

If the air conditioner is overcharged it can cause this to happen. Also that fan will need
to be replaced because it helps the condenser for the air conditioner to cool the air.
someone may have overcharged the a/c to try and compensate for it.
The lack of cooling will cause overheating of the engine without that fan replaced because it is also the radiator fan.
