No power to the fuel pump
First thing is first, check that all of your fuses are good. There should be a fuse block under the hood, if you get power while crabking the motor over your fuel pump relay may be bad. The relay should also be located in the fuse block. If you have a good relay and power on both sides your oil pressure sensor may also be bad, but you will need a volt/ohm meter to actually diagnose the problem. Good luck, fuses and relay are simple/ cheap/ and easy
How to replace brake lines on 2000 malibue
follow damaged line each direction and unscrew from each end any auto store can assist you with replacement line in length and connections ---reconnect new line --now you have to bleed the brakes --open master cylinder and fill with brake fluid --start at rear passenger side and start bleeding to get air out --than go to rear drivers side and do same next is pass-front and finish with front drivers side than your done
I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu and the check engine light won't go away.
You need a system diagram or schematic of the evap system
To to it correctly, verse throwing parts at it & fail, you should next
use an evap smoke machine to test the entire system
Item three-you now diagnose your codes & component test
the solenoid that failed the smoke test-- if the code is not specific
to a system part
Four-you can test them with a feature on a professional scan tool
if that feature is avail or unplug the solenoid & put battery voltage to
it,still connected to the smoke flow
The code is vent control circuit malfunction--so is there a failed
part or do you dig deeper
I suggest you find a shop that says what I'm saying & can
convince you they have a smoke machine & a data base to
find those items & not just hang parts based on a code &
lack of knowledge & experience & there are many shops not
up to speed out there
My car wont start up
First of all, the new fuel pump may be bad. disconnect line at fuel filter where it goes through filter. and see if fuel flows, or have someone to put hand flat on bottom of tank and try to start car. if fuel pump is working you will feel a vibration on tank. if it does not work, check the fuel pump fuse in fuse box before you exchange it.and or the fuel pump relay! when car is running it runs constantly, when you simply turn key to on position, it runs for about 3 seconds(until fuel pressure in line comes up. and then cycles off.
Can i get the trouble codes without scanner on a 2000 chevrolet malibu 3.1L
You will need a scanner. There is one available on Ebay and elsewhere for 5 to 10.00 called the ELM327, it is a Blue-tooth device for Bluetooth equipped laptops and/or Android phones.
If this isn't quick enough try
www.kijiji.com to find a local back-yard mechanic that will scan it for you for 10 or 20 bucks rather than 80.00+ at a dealer or garage.
Keep in mind that this only is a symptom and may not be the problem but may be a wire or vacuum leak in the general vicinity of it. One could test each sensor as it should have a certain resistance value between the posts of each sensor. Not sure where you can find the specs however.
My guess is that either the crank sensor or the EGR system is clogged or not functioning. Most EGR valves can be removed and cleaned and freed from sticking but a lot of problems exist where the channel the EGR takes through the intake manifold gets clogged and typically must be removed to get the carbon out.
Check out the videos on youtube.com that are related to this problem and for testing, eg., one can make a gasket out of a pop can to cover the hole in the egr for a test, which blocks the hole completely - temporarily.
One final option is that you have bad plugs and wires.
A compression test would tell you if you have a bad valve, rings or perhaps bad head gasket. In a second test of compression one could put a bottle cap full of oil in the cylinder and if the compression goes up it is the rings that are bad.

I had a guy to tell me it would be the fuses so if there can tell me the problem is what wrong with my car the car wont start I go into the store and come back it wont start everything work but my das
I had a lumina that acted strange, just like this. The customer said that he could drive it a while and then it would not start. I started it and was trying to find the problem. He mentioned that when he hits a bump the car would die sometimes. So, I kicked the Right Front wheel while it was running. The car died. It did it repeatedly. I discovered that the key (with the black resistor on it) was not making good contact with the contacts in the key slot. It was an easy fix. I measured the resistance on the key resistor (black resistor on the key) from one side of the key to the other. Found a resistor of the same resistance. Installed it in the little white wires leading down the column. Fixed. No more resistor key needed. I hope this helps you. Not much information to go on. Just trying to help you out.
Anti locking brakes
Have you read your owners manual?
Have you stopped using the car for safety reasons?
Do you have a Repair Shop you have checked out or
used for decades?
Have you checked for OBD2 Fault Codes & Googled them,
to see the system with the fault & possible problems?
Air conditioner
If you are able to make it satrt by grounding the relay then you know for shure that the ac system works fine .
But you have a problem on the driving side of the ac system .
I would look for an open circuit on your pcm module that drives the relay. ( the wire between your pcm and a/c relay is open .)
Try to locate that wire and see if you have overload of resistance, if yes change wire and everything is good. if not than you could have a faulty pcm output.(in that case you would need a new pcm.
hope this will help you!!
