If you are sure that your battery is good and the wires to your starter are fastened tightly and your starter is properly grounded and the starter doesnt work, pull it out and take it to an auto parts store to have it checked. Most will do it for free.

Check your light bulbs.

The heater uses water to deliver heat and the A/C delivers cold with freon. If you have no water, the heater valve is stuck, or your heater core is plugged, you will not get heating but your A/C will still work just fine.

You have to count the number of flashes then check the repair book to see what it means. The sequence will continue to repeat, so don't worry if you don't get it the first time.

Check your four wheel drive fuse.

If your shifter is working properly, check the four wheel drive fuse. This had me stranded way out in the boonies until I stumbled upon it!

Look along the HP line prior to the evaporator. The line needs to be removed to get to the valve.

Remove the four screws, as you did, and then you need to unplug all of the electrical connections on the right side and on the left side of the panel. You need patience and skinnny hands. Make sure the battery is disconnected before you start. When you replace the dash, screw the screws in LIGHTLY or you will destroy the screw holes and then you will not be able to hold the dash in place.

A common problem with older Chevy trucks is the fuel level sending unit. This is located in the fuel tank and is very likely your problem.

Try running the Serial number to see if there is a brake type letter Code. An easier way would be to get both sets and then take the unused one back to the store. That way you only pull the drum 1 time to do the job.But if you are not sure of the drums, they may need turning and you will be going back to the store again. For that matter, I would guess different shoes mean that the drums could be different for each system. So you will need to pull the drum to find out if it is good or bad anyway and measure its size.

hello, are you saying the turn indicators light on the dash??? and wont flash?have you checked the rear bulbs??? sometimes if you have a bad bulb it will cause a back feed causing this condtion.
