Make sure all the glow plugs are working.

save yourself some time and look under the truck and trace the fuel lines from the fuel pump. The line with the gas filter in it will be the pressure line and the other will be the return line. Not sure if that helps but it is better than wasting your time looking for a diagram for two fuel lines.

Hi Ramon: I'd start by checking to make sure that power is getting to it and that the cps is functioning properly.

Have a complete change engine oil including change oil filter. and use unlead gas for the meantime,if your using a premium gas empty your tank and change it to unlead . run you vehicle for at least 10 miles before you have your emission test. after the test you can go back using you preferred gas

my best guess would be a short in the circuit. probably in the steering colam. (if it's blows the fuse for the left and right turn signal.) but it could also be just a wrong bulb in one of the brake light sockets. but i would go with my first guess.

make sure that the right cap goes to the right plug. they are specific to firing order.

Super_guy said it all ! Remove all the screws on the inside of the panel. You can then use small pry-bars to slip behind the panel to pop out the clips that hold the panel in place. If in fact you do break any clips, you can buy then at Advance Auto, Auto Zone, Napa, and other places like that. Be sure to replace them, you don't want your door to sqeak and shake afterwards.

Remove all screws and using a panel remover gently pry the panel from the bottom left

Under the dash board there is an electrical block with nothing plugged into it. there are 2 rows of terminals. on the top row on the right is terminal "a". terminal "b" is the second one in from the right. terminal diagram labeling is like this from left to right.
top row,"F", "E", "blank","C","B","A"
bottom row "G","H", "blank","blank","blank","blank"
take a small piece of wire and jump terminal "A" and "B". i found an unfolded paper clip works well. with the terminals jumped, turn the key to the on position.(DO NOT START ENGINE) with the key on, the service engine light will start flashing codes. count the flashes. it will repeat each code 3 times before moving on to the next code. your first and last code will be a code 12. that is just the test code. it lets you know you did it right. you will see 1 flash with a short pause then 2 flashes. after you see that 3 times, your next code will be your trouble codes. when you see code "12" again, there are no more. if you tell me what the codes are, i'll tell you what the mean. hope this helps.

Look for a burned fuse link in the wiring harness

Have you confirmed whether the engine is actually over heating or is it just a bad temp sensor?

The slave cylinder on the transmission is leaking. It may be rebuilt or replaced. It will have to have the air bled out of it either way you go. The bleeder screw in on the side if the slave cylinder .

Did you check the underhood sticker? Usually tells you what steps you need to perform. On your truck it might be automatic, you would beed to set the initial timing and then the computer sets the timing after that.

The only thing that will keep it from starting, since you have fuel and spark at the plugs. Would be really low compression. Under 90 pounds on most of the cylinders.

best advice is to have a turbo fitted by an accredited turbo specialist shop. They will have the equipment, knowledge and chips available to tune the engine on a dyno to pass regulations. They will also be certified to fit the modification plate to the vehicle to keep you legal.
