99 pontiac grand am. replaced head/intake
SOUNDS AS IF MAYBE ONE OR TWO THINGD GOING ON, 1 the block could be craked ,2, radiator could be clogged .3head could be bad, first you need to find out if the is combustion in the coolant system, the is a kit you can bye called a BLOCK TESTER KIT you can pick this up at local parts store (napa has it ) and read and follow instructions, that will tell you alot there if its internal or cooant related
Alternator charging but not charging battery
What is the batteries voltage with the vehicle not running?If less than 12v most likely the alternator can not keep up with a bad battery.If you have a large steroe system installed make sure the Alternator can keep up with it.Make sure the bely is tight and not dry-cracked and brittle as it may slip without making noise.How do you know it is charging? You have 14.2v with it running? You test the Diods? Load test?Make sure the battery light turns on when you turn the key on before you start the engine. if the bulb is burned out the signal to turn the alternator on will never reach it.

Remove your steering wheel and look for the series of rings that supply power to your steering wheel buttons. Look for something broken or out of place that would move and short against the ring that provides power to the horn.

A misfire doesn't always have to be ignition... it's just the most common cause. Faulty or plugged injector, low compression. You need to check fuel pressure and test the fuel injector flow. Then check compression. If you don't have tools for these tests, take it to someone who does. Testing is much cheaper than throwing parts at the problem.
Left headlight no working
It can only be one of a handful of problems. The most obvious is just a bad bulb. Another is that the socket that the bulb connects to is bad. You can also check and see if you have a fuse that is specific to the left headlight. You should check to see if the socket/bulb assembly is getting any electrical power. That will help out in a big way. If you are getting power to it, then its either the bulb or the socket that is bad. (Try the bulb, first.)
WHERE IS CRANK SENSOR LOCATED
the crankshaft senor is located behind the harmonic balancer you need to pull off the balancer in order to replace it
