Where is the fuel filter located on a 1992 oldsmobile custon criuser

The fuel filter in the Oldsmobile Intrigue is located under the car in front of the fuel tank. The purpose of the fuel filter is to pull out any debris and sediment that may have been sucked up by the fuel pump in the tank. Harmful sediment and debris can be hazardous to the engine. Replacement of the filter should be done every 30,000 miles.More read: OBD2 Diagnostic

I have a 1992 Oldsmobile

The reverse light is actuated by a switch either on your transmission itself or on the steering column. The switch can simply have went bad and just needs replaced if you have already made sure your bulbs are all good.It is usually called the"back up light switch" and can be bought aftermarket at places like Advance and Autozone.Finding a short can be time consuming and frustrating. If you know how to use a multimeter, set it on "audible continuity" and then start making sure your ground wires are all good and dont touch any positive wires by touching one end of the wire to the black lead and the red to the other end of a wire.It just takes patience checking each wire in the circuit that is bad.

My 1992 oldsmobile custom cruiser

Your car is worth about the same with a working and a non-working gas gauge, being about $500 tops.
So you have to decide what fixing this inconvenience is worth. You are going to need a new sender unit which is a float on an arm attached to a variable resister which is on a stick hanging in your gas tank. Means you have to drop the tank, your car is in the age group where it may have a mechanical fuel pump hanging on the side of the engine, or an electrical pump inside the tank. If you are going to go to the trouble of dropping the tank and replacing the sender, you should also replace the electric pump, if it has one, while you are at it as it is near the end of its life too. On the other hand you could just live with it. My personal feeling is to never replace a bad wear item with a used wear item so I would look around and find a new sender as opposed to one out of a junk yard. A car that old a dealer is not going to have it so a google search is required for the parts. You are also going to need a new O-ring for the tank insert.

Blower Motor Location

Look under the hood on the fire wall where the heater hoses go into the interior ogf the car. The heater core is just inside under the dash. theree is no easy way to tak out the heater core. But it is done all the time.
Do that only if it's leaking and the carpet under the dash is wet. If not, try flushing the heater core .With the engine cold and the radiator empty, Take both hoses off that connect to the heater core. Insert some hoses to both the inlet and outlet so you can direct the water down and away from the engine. With a good stream of water pressure. Put the water hose into one of the inlets. And spray the water in until it comes out the other hose. Flush out everything that may be clogging the core.

Some tune up questions and trouble shooting a running issue.

Actually.....the 5.0 in the 92 Olds Custom Cruiser is a 307 CI 5.0 L engine believe it or not....The Caprice had a 305 CI 5.0 L engine. There is very little difference, but I have one as well and I found that out through the local dealer. The pulsation you feel when driving sounds like a transmission problem to me, but I think it could be from the timing chain issue. I do not know the timing setting for the car, but maybe this will help you to find it. I would try to make sure which motor you actually have first, the 305 or the 307, and then ask the mechanic at the local dealer what the setting should be.

Im trying to figure wat is the lug pattern

The factory Lug pattern on the Olds Custom cruiser full size (i.e. Caprice/ Impala) is 5 lug with 5 inch spacing also known as 5 on 5. The S-10, Camaro, and Chevelles are all 5 on 4 3/4 so they will not work. Any 5 lug Full sized Van or full sized GM pickup truck or Astro have the same pattern as the Custom cruiser. Additionally, Most Gm 64-96 Full sized body on frame cars have the same pattern of 5 on 5 (5x5) as the Custom cruiser. Hope this helps.
