Replace the brakes hoses going to the calipers. This would cause the lock up. Also you need to look at the brake pads and rotors. After so much het theycan get glazed, to remedy this use some 36 to 80 grit sand paper and sand them off. This is what is causing the squeal.. Just a note, if you feel a vibration/ wobble in the steering wheel when you hit the brakes, replace the rotors as they are warped. And if your pads are less than 1/4 " replace them also.

When was the last time you had a front end alignment? When did you start noticing it? It doesn't take a lot to knock it our of align. A simple pot hole could do that.

maybe one of the light connections is grounding out? check the light holders to make sure there is nothing pinched or worn through on the back of the lights.

Not sure what you are after but I'd suggest checking HTleads, spark plugs, coils or distributor before worrying about the valves.The valves can be checked by having a compression test carried out.Removing the cylinder head and playing with valves needs more than a diagram, you'll need torque setting and clearances, drive belt settings and special tools to mention but a few. it's a big job and not really for novices

You could have gotten a bad switch. Try plugging the old one back in and see if it works. Windows get their power from a circuit breaker. These rarely go bad.
