Go to the parts department at a chevy dealer. ask the parts guy to show you an illustrated parts breakdown on the thing. this costs nothing and they will usually print you the page. then you know the name and part number and cost.

you will have to remove the dash cluster and the bulb twist out on the back side. As every car is different I would get the $20.00 book from autozone for your car to tell you how to remove cluster.

What does that mean?

Evap vent valve has only one purpose. It closes in order to seal the vent so the EVAP system can pressurize and ensure there are no leaks. Evap vent valve is usually supplied Batt. voltage with key on. The ECM's driver controls the ground, and when grounded, activates the valve (closing it). If the ECM detects a short to ground, and open,or a short to battery voltage on the control circuit, P0446 will set. Code also may refer to ECM detecting that EVAP system is unable to achieve or maintain vacuum during test.
Symptoms

There will be no obvious symptoms to driver, other than MIL illumination.
Causes

A code P0446 could mean one or more of the following has happened:

* Faulty vent valve
* Open, short or excessive resistance on Vent valve control circuit
* Blockage of vent valve
* Bad PCM

Possible Solutions

With a P0446 OBD-II trouble code, here are some things to try:

* Replace Vent valve
* Repair open, short, or resistance problem in control circuit
* Repair open, or short, or resistance problem in power circuit
* Replace PCM

Upstream O2 is the one right after the exhaust manifold, the one closes to the engine, disconnect harness, and with 7/8 wrench remove O2.

Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.

Remove the lens if there are no visible screws then use a flat screw driver to try and pop it out working the screwdriver in between the lens and the lens frame. Once that is done there should be a couple screws visible that hold the lens frame in place

not really try something else

shocks my be going bad push up and down hard on top of the car over each front wheel and let go..it should not bounce up and down more than once. if it does shocks are bad.

Since this is actually a Toyota engine, you're fine with 10w 30 or 10w 40 depending on the mileage of the vehicle. 10w 40 for 100,000 or more.

you need to replace the brake pads, or remove the anti sqeal shims that are between the pads and the brake cylinder. These are what generally cause your problem. When the shims are out rub them with glasspaper and smear copaslip grease on both sides of the shim. Replace, and bobs yer auntie!

lower control arm

Initially change the Plug lead to get a result. Use a Long enough Plug Lead from any other vehicle, as a quick fix, and reclean the offending Plug before trying.

It mounts between the air cleaner box and the tube which goes from the air cleaner to the engine's throttle body.
