It sounds like you have power coming out of the switch to the motor because of what you hear. So that pretty much leaves you with a window regulator problem. Make sure there's no binding action between window & frame

You should have to pull on the metal collar it is made on the plug wires to keep them from getting to hot near the exhaust.

Pretty straight forward. Disconnect the negative cable and then the positive cable from the battery. Then use a 3/8 rachet and remove the serp belt with the tensioner. Then remove the bolts that hold the alternator. Move out of the way a little. Remove the cable. Then disconnect the plug. Then install in reverse order.

why not just disable the motors while in up position?

assuming you mean replacing the bulb? about $2.00 a bulb
the bulb is push and twist, open the hood and remove the plastic cover then remove the bulb by pushing it down and twist it a little till it pops out. I see only one light , I think my 1994 vette has two

possib;e issue with headlight switch

It sounds like your car's computer is acting up. I would recommend that you take it to a stealership and have it scanned. I suspect that you may need to replace the computer

check the adjustment on the ignition switch

the most common cause is the window motor is defective

check and see if it has a cabin filter and change it is like an air filter but its for your ac.

check the pump for operation, all check the fuse and relays for the washer fluid

your air conditioning freon is low may just need to recharge...

It might. If not, adjust the fork.

This is caused by a fault with the TAC (Throttle Acuator Control) system of your vehicle. You will have to test the TAC, ecu, and the electronic throttle actuator to find source of problem. Will have to take to dealership for these tests.
