I have 1995 chevy tahoe

How long has it been since it has had a tune up? Sounds like a new set of spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor would be a big help. Make sure the air filter is clean. Have the engine scanned for trouble codes to see if any of the sensors are indicating problems. I'm pretty sure you are going to have to replace some O2 sensors. Get the trouble codes and go from there.

No brake lights need to replace brake light switch

Its on the top of the brake pedal. Unplug the connector and check for 12 volts firstif you have a multimeter set it 20 DC volts you should get 12 at connector. If thats good set the meter to OHMS low scale take jumper leads connect to switch terminals aliagator clips then clip to the probes on the meter and push the brake pedal the reading should change if the switch is good from open when depressed to closed when no force applyed to the brake pedal. If there is no change then the switch needs to be replaced. Remove the clip from the pin that slides through the pedal and the switch slide out the pin install new switch reconnect the connector slide pin back in and install the clip. check to see if brake lights work

How do I change a block heater in a 1995 Chevrolet

the block heaters are usually installed in the place of a freeze plug and they only have a single screw at the center that holds it into the engine, once screw is removed or loosened just pry it off ,in some cases you will find different ones in the lower radiator hose in which case all you need to do is remove the clamps at each end.

95 chev. pickup. Cool air comes out at floor.

It sounds like the actuator that diverts the air may have gone out. I would suggest replacing the blend-door actuator so that your air will go to the right places. The blend door actuator shouldn't cost more than $150.

No heat, and I want

Heater Core REMOVAL & INSTALLATION CAUTION
Never open, service or drain the radiator or cooling system when hot; serious burns can occur from the steam and hot coolant. Also, when draining engine coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted to ethylene glycol antifreeze and could drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantities. Always drain coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or is several years old.
