My 1995 Chevy Tahoe brake
Brake Light Switch
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disable the SIR system (if equipped).
- Remove the clip (R/V Series) or unclip the switch (C/K Series) and unplug the electrical connector from the brake light switch.
- Remove the switch.
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
I am unable to get
the reverse sun gear shell is a very common problem with the chevy 4l60 transmissions. the trans will need to be taken out of the truck and repaired.
95 tahoe 5.7 whats the round canister to the right
1 the canister is a deposit of carbon that recovers and releases gasoline vapor depending on the engine demands, 2 the hose comming from trans.is a relieve , the other hose the one is leaking, may be a vacuum hose, inspect and some noise must make like a leak. a Thanks
My power seats and door
Try checking the fuse box. The big top left silver box controls the locks, seats and keyless entry module. Could be a bad fuse. It could also be the wire connections that run into that particular fuse slot behind the fuse box.
Will a knock senscor cause lack of power on
Yes. The knock sensor is located in the engine block, the knock sensor retards ignition timing during a spark knock condition to allow the E.C.M. ( electronic control module) to maintain maximum timing advance under most conditions.
Need schematics or instructions to disassemble
Disconnect the negative battery cable. If it is equipped with tilt steering, lower it to the lowest position. Unfasten the 8 clips that retain the instrument cluster bezel and remove the bezel. There are 4 clips on the top of the cluster and 4 on the bottom of the cluster bezel. Unplug the electrical connections from the headlamp switch, dimmer control and any other accessory switches that would interfere cluster removal. Unfasten the 4 cluster retaining screws and remove the cluster making sure nothing contacts the circuit connections. Turn the bulb assembly 1/2 turn to the left to remove. To reinstall, Install the bulb assembly. Place the cluster into position without touching the connector pins. Install and tighten the cluster retainers. Install the remaining components in the reverse order of removal.
Problem with transmission. I
Cheapest scenario is to change the transmission filter. That is if it is an automatic. When you do this, most transmissions have a magnet in the transmission pan. If yours has one I would check it for excessive metal shavings or worse metal chunks.
I changed the front brake rotors and pads also the
keep bleeding and bleed the front as well the littlest amount of air will keep pedal spongy if the abs came on after doning brakes check the abs lines and connections up front the abs lines sometimes get banged up will doing brake job the abs sensor is the wire that runs from behind the rotor to the fire wall sometimes they get hit knocked into or damaged if wiring looks good have vehicle scanned for code .the code will make it easier to pinpoint what side-- if circuit problem--or if sensor went bad most auto stores offer scanning for free
