I Mixed up the Firing
For some reason I can't seem to paste a picture but maybe this will help you. Your firing order is 1 6 5 4 3 2 going in a clockwise rotation. Your number 1 3 & 5 cylinders are the front was closest to the front of the car and the rear cylinders are number 2 4 & 6. Numbers 1 & 2 will be closest to the passenger side of the vehicle (the front of the engine). you can have the module off its bracket and take it to auto zone and have it tested. If they are bad than I would find a way to retrieve the codes from the computer. You can get a manual from auto zone or orielly that shows you how to retrieve the codes since it is not obd 2. Your problem could be crank sensor, but you need to get the codes. Hope this helps.

TRYING TO FIND A SHIFTER CABLE. WAS TOLD BY CHEVY
What you can do is go to a salvage yard and pull one off a used vehicle.Sometimes it`s hard to find old parts but if you can find a good salvage yard that still has older vehicles it can be very rewarding.I do this a lot when I work on older vehicles and can`t get parts for them. You can try calling a few parts stores just in case they might have one before you go out to the salvage yard.Hope this helps.Good luck.
