If you have a library card, some will give you the u/n and p/w so you can access them from your home computer, if not then you will have to go to your local branch to get access, but it is free!

There should be an idle control motor on the side of the carb. The computer controls idle speed by moving the stop on that control motor. The stop is adjustable and there may also be a base idle adjusting screw near the control motor.

Oil. if the smoke is coming from between the engine block and the firewall then its probably oil on the exhaust manifold. Make sure that your engine is not leaking oil from the seals and make sure the oil cap and dipstick are in place, start your car, with the hood up and observe the smoke if its bad then id take it to a mechanic but if its only mild then providing your engine isn't leaking oil it should burn off within a few minutes of the engine being started, i say watch the smoke because if it is leaking oil onto the exhaust in great amounts then it is possible it could catch fire.

Not sure if I am following your question.Is the battery charged up when you first start the engine ?Does the engine crank but not start the second time, or not crank ?What happens if you let it sit for an hour ?

You may have bad teeth on your starter or the solenoid may just be going bad. It is also possible you bought a defective battery,may have bad cells.

What smokes exactly the heater? If so you have a leaking heater core.

If the air does not blow out of the defrost vents, check the control and the vent door actuators for a vac leak.

Is it clear water or coolant ?Clear water could come from the a/c or a drain for the cowl or roof.
