Fuses (located on a swing down unit near the steering column or in the glove box) protect all the major electrical systems in the car. In case of an electrical overload, the fuse melts, breaking the circuit and stopping the flow of electricity.

I suggest check your 1994-Oldsmobile-Eighty-Eight-Owners-Manual for descriptions (page 223 and next).

Did you make sure that new O-rings were installed?

Its the harmonic balancer. The rubber in the balancer has disintegrated and not balancing the motor any longer. You have to install a new one.

Use an ohm meter to verify the switch is or is not operating correctly.

Intake manifold-to-cylinder head bolts....96 in-lbs Intake manifold, upper to lower bolts ....132 in-lbs Tighten all bolts from center of manifold towards the ends.

This may be related to the antitheft system The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY? Some cars..the module is affectd if batt ran low..below 12.6v they can be ruind. Test batt for holdn a charge. Same w alternator. Also the main cable from batt to alt cud b worn causing low flow

sounds like the neutral safety switch needs to be adjusted, and/ or there are some loose fasteners at the linkage to/from the shifter

It is in the A/C line leading into the evaporator. There will be a pipe-to-pipe connection right before it, and the pipe reduces in diameter right after it. You will need a special tool to remove it. You might try needle nose pliers, but be careful if it's never been replaced before. It could come apart.

For the brakes take it to an accredited brake shop and for the steering take it to an accredited steering and suspension shop. If they are not accredited then there is every chance that you will get ripped off.

Sounds like the motor and gearing has worn out, they take a lot of punishment. Replacements are available (sometimes it works out much much cheaper to buy a whole second-hand seat). But that depends how much you like the car...

don't know this car specifically, but probably the socket will turn out from the back. Get under the car and look up.

tune up time?, at least spsrk plugs, and filters. misfire is just that. its misifiring and #1 top of list, 100 years is tuneup.

with the smoke and smell i'd think the catalytic convertor/exhaust system is getting blocked .Get a fuel addative that covers the cat convertor as well as the valves etc , should clean out the system , might have to do two treatments , follow the manufactureres instructions
