My cirgerette lighter in my 1988 cutlass ciera
The lighter has a resistance coil similar to electric room heaters. There is a coil of wire which gets red hot when current is made to flow through it. First ensure that current is available in the lighter receptacle by a line tester or a simple bulb tester. If the bulb lights up, means either the push button for the assembly are not getting the leads contact point which could be deposition of salts and cleaning it should suffice. The other thing that that is critical is the coil itself. If the coil is not continuous, i.e. has a break, then replace the coil ..........................sodeep
Starter getting dirty
Good Day
What you could do is put a piece of sheet metal over the opening, if they are no holes already there for screws you would have to tap some, then you could silicone around the metal then just bolt it into place. This should stop your problem. Hope this helps.
Cheers
WONT TURN OVER
Your cylinder is probably loose due to extended use. It might not be mounted correctly in the cylinder housing. It might point to a faulty screw that mounts it in there. Try replacing that cylinder.

To find the relays you have to have someone turn the key on and off multiple times. While they are doing this you should hear the relays clicking away. Their will be at least two of them, they will be little black boxes about an insh across an an inch and a half long with wiresgoing in to the bottem of them.
Please contact me if your problem prisists.
Thanks, Charlie
1994 Buck P/Ave Runs in reverse Not drive
If it was a modulator it would go into low but it would be screaming when it shifted into second and third. The modulator lets the trans shift without head jerking shifts and when unhooked the shift point is way up in the rpms before it shifts.Buicks are hard to beat when it comes to lasting. I do believe in my opinion i would replace the trans. Hope i helped a little God Bless you Greg
