STP POWER STEERING fluid is good. Don't put transmission fluid for power steering !

yes that is the pwr steer if the car is cold it should be at the bottom of the dipstick if its hot it will be about half way

hmm... as i remember u have to STEP on the small pedal near the left wall and CLUTCH pedal?

These are cable driven there is a cable that goes into the rear differential its probably the sender unit thats gone on the diff side the 190e are the same type i think you can buy these and replace easy enough its just 1 hex nut that keeps it in place hope this helps ivan

Until you have the system scanned for fault codes all this is a guessing game.

1st you need to open door, remove plastic trim on inside of door by the handle, there is a hole where a 25 torx screw is holding handle end cap, pull door handle in open position, slacken screw until end cap is loose, remove end cap & slide door handle to rear of door out comes the handle, check with torch for any broken parts

check earth points for wiper ,wiring issue or switch

keep with original tire diameter regardless of rims

check the tank there's probably a leak

It seems there's a problem with the internal rotary system that runs to the soft top. Check for unplugged/disconnected wires under the dashboard where the button or switch is. If you can't locate the problem, it's best to call a mechanic.
