Check the corresponding fuse

Check for a vacuum leak around the inlet manifold

call dealer with VIN# on hand, ask for the parts dept, ask for code.

hook up scanner read code, did you try to do any work to the car. brakes, or anything ?

every time you put the heat on the engine stalls. but the car starts right up? all I can think of would be to disconnect the a/c compressor connection, may be is frozen or over charged, if unpluged the engine does not stall, have someone look at the compresor.

valet key wont open door, only starts the car 3 times, wont open globe compartment or truck , is a valet key. for stranges to park your car

have someone check the oil level, of course someone that works on mercedes, sinse your car has no dip stick

To remove a CD from a changer that does not respond to the eject button: Look to see if there is a tiny round hole near the eject button. It will be as small or smaller than the diameter of a paperclip. If you see it then that is the CD release. You will need to find a piece of very stiff wire that fits comfortably in that hole. After you insert the wire you will feel it land against something hard in maybe about 1/2 inch. Gently press the wire and hope that there is compression of the switch which will open the CD Changer.

i found the solution to same problem here. http://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/314638-no-power-trunk-3rd-brake-light-license-plate-lamps-2.html it was a easy fix, broken wires in the boot a common fault with mercedes.
