There is no gauge in the fuel tank, the fuel sending unit is, that sends the signal to the fuel gauge in the dash to show how much is in the tank. Apparently, the sending unit is shot.

Replace the crank sensor.That sounds like your problem.

As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you check and replace blown fuses if there's any. If fuses seems to be fine then go for fuel pump replacement. If the fuel pump is faulty, there will be no fuel supply to the engine.

most likely it is the ignition spark control and not just the coils. chances that all you coils went out at the same time is nil. ignition module i would check around for prices but a new one might be a dealer only part..check the web....

are you sure this is a CL600? i cant find a CL600 but i can find a SL600.

If you have the car, the 3 digit paint code is indicated on a small plaque on the drivers side door. If not here are all the color codes available for the 1994 C-class. Including all the special order colors which were also options.

have a good mechanic take a look at the engine mounts the gearbox mounts. also check universal joints/rubber couplings in drive shaft diff mounts and bushes a and rear shock absorbers.

Firing order is: 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4

Some don't have a fuel release for fuel door, you just push forward side of fuel door. (Make sure doors are unlocked)
