you need a radiator flush. or take off hoses going into the heater core from the outside under the hood and run compressed air through with your air compressor. they get clogged after years of use

Best to get a repair manual. You will need to remove part or all of the dash, since the heater core is inside the car on the firewall. An Autoparts store would have a repair manual for your car. In The Meantime: 1. Disconnect the heater hoses, at the firewall in the engine compartment. 2. Connect the two hoses together using a piece of tubing and a couple of hose clamps. (This will bypass the heater core, until you can get it fixed.)

Try replacing the coolant temperature sensor for the injection system.

The display is on all the time. You can only dim it with the headlight switch. If the display is blank, you will need a new Instrument Cluster. Some sites on ebay will repair yours cheaper than a new one, and keep your milage the same.

Slips ?
I assume you mean the trani is slipping..
It could be a few things..
Maybe low on fluid,,
Or modulator,,
Or elctronics in the trani - etc..
Or there could internal damage causing the slipping..

I would advise taking it to a trani shop..
Allot of them wil give a free estimate..

Either there is a bad wire, or the computer is bad. Its time to have a qualified repair shop check it out.

look more into your ignition module and crank sensor the module is the most common problem

when you replaced your water pump you drained all your coolant now to top it off leave the cover off your tank cause as your thermostat opens it will allow more water to enter your block. keep topping it off till it doesnt drain into your block anymore. this will be a while since when you add water it cools your thermostat and closes and will reopen when reaches temp.

Wow, is there room for compression fittings? We use them when a line gets cut off in the middle by some means. You can use neoprene hose and hose clamps like on a lawn fitting fuel filter at each end. Otherwise you can only change the lines. If the fuel filter is the brass kind, the ends are able to fit inside the neoprene hose's then clamp the ends with a hose clamp. Check for leaks, good to go.

you unplug the sensor and measure the resistance of the sensor itself by touching the sensor terminals with your meter.

Your computer has sensed a component slipping in your transmission. At that mileage I would recommend a rebuild. The 4L60E is notorious for a weak sunshell anyway. I recently rebuilt mine and the spline ring was broken, but had not stripped the spline teeth out of the sunshell body yet.. There are fixes for the valve body for this code, but with your mileage, I think you would be wasting your time and probably sooner than later would experience another failure if not a complete failure.
