Tree hit the back side
I saw this done by a guy, he was not working on a Buick ... he went to the bone yard to get a replacement window - I dont know how he got the old one out, probably cut the rubber on the outside ... what I did see was he put a heavy string into the rubber channel that was in the car and lubricated the rubber heavily with liquid soap. He set the bottom of the glass into the botton of the gasket. Next he started pulling the string out which spread the gasket wide and the glass just popped into place. I saw it, it looked simple, I don't know that I could do it. Maybe you should try it.
I guess the tipping point would be what is the cost to have it done VS the cost of your getting a used glass from the bone yard.
Good luck.

Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted on passenger side of steering column.
At times the horn on
Hello
This problem is caused by the plastic cover you press to activate the horn is (part of the steering wheel airbag) heat warped and this causes the electrical contact inside the pad to make the horn contacts inside the pad touch and sound the horn, not common but I have seen it at least once a year. This type of problem occurs most with cars that spend allot of time parked outside in areas that have hot summer seasonal temperatures. The only solution for it is to replace the Airbag assembly or disconnect the horn relay. The horn relay location is listed in the owners manual and is most often in the under-hood fuse and relay center. The drivers window is a little harder to diagnose, but it may be the actual window switch that is the problem.
I have a 1992 Buick

Started with cold air on
- If you have cold air on the drivers side and not the passenger side and you removed the actuator on the drivers side and put it on the passenger side and it did not work when it just did youu have a power feed issue or the door on that side is stuck.
- Get out your multi meter and check for voltage in the connector and trace the power feed wire back as far as needed to see where the circuit is broke.
- The reason I say it may be the door to is because if it is stuck the the arm on the actuator will not move it. So you may need to get to the door and manually move it to make sure it is not a stuck door. It may be easier to test the connector and wire for polarity before digging into the blower box.
- This is really the only two things it could be. With having a confirmed working actuator to test the passenger side with we can say for sure it is either a stuck door or a break in the power circuit.
- If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask.
