Crank sensor only tells the ignition modual what position the motor is in. If it's not cranking you may have a starter solenoid or starter going bad, bad battery, or other electrical issue, could even be a bad ignition switch.

I suggest you tow the vehicle to the nearest Buick dealer.

If you have bought the car from a person they may have done some work on the steering column, If they did odds are they cut the wires instead of taking the time of feeding them up through the column. If this is the case a new wiring harness for it is only about 30 bucks, but you have to pull the steering wheel, be very carefull if you have airbags. all the work in changing that out is unplug the old one and tape a wire to the end pull it out and tape the new one to the same wire and pull it back through. You didn't say what year or model your Buick is, but I would suggest replacing the relay/relays and the headlight switch.

1st I would change to premium gas for a tank or two.Might be a loose plug wire,run a can of engine cleaner through the engine,change the air filter.

you can but it will not put out the abs light on the dash. I guess this is why you want to bypass.
