I have just purchased a 95 Aura very low in price,

The first thing to check, is the 25amp circuit breaker located in
the fuse block under the back seat near the battery. If that checks out, remove the master switch from the drivers door panel and using a 12v test light or volt meter check for power at
the brown wire connection, grounding the test light to the black
wire connection. If no power, try another ground(door jamb/pillar)
if it's got power now, repair bad grnd. If not, repair bad pwr. feed
or use a different power source. But if there is power to the
switch and it won't work, replace the switch.
Hope this helps.

CANT FIND WHERE THE SPEED SENSOR IS NO MY 1995

hi , their is two different speed sensors on your vehicle one is the input speed sensor which is inside the transmission and the transmission will have to be removed to replace it the other one s the output speed sensor is located directly above the passenger side trans-axle shaft. your input sensor is the sensor which tells the transmission when to shift and the output speed sensor tells the speedometer what it should display and both those parts are fairly cheap they are around 15-25 dollars but just remember if your input speed sensor is bad it is gonna cost you a minimum of 1000 dollars to have a mechanic fix as the transmission needs to be removed hope this is what you needed

How many oxygen sensors are in my 95 oldsmobile

LOCATIONS There are different locations in the exhaust system where O2S sensors are positioned. The locations have been given numbers and will be used in the accompanying charts to identify the positions of O2S sensors in most vehicles. Due to mid-year production changes or factory inconsistencies, all models may not be covered. If a vehicle being serviced is not covered in the charts, inspect the exhaust system (while cold!) in the general locations to find the applicable O2S sensors. NOTE: If equipped with dual exhaust systems, there may be up to 4 or 5 O2S sensors in the exhaust system. Be sure to locate all of them before commencing with any testing or service. Sounds like your fuel pumps trying to go. You should probably have it replaced along with the fuel filter.

Car running fine , shut

sounds to me like a fuel pressure problem. Getting enough fuel to idle but dies when you give it gas. Might be a plugged fuel filter. Id check that first. That will tell you wether or not the engine is getting fuel.

Where do you plug in the code reader on 1995

First of all, it's located below the steering wheel underneath the dash.
If it was late 1995 the OBD-II may be on the vehicle, but I think not. Usually '96 and above can be read by an OBD-II scanner.

OBD-I also had a connector in the same place, but uses a different scan tool.

good luck in reading codes.

I've been trying to find the cooling senting unit

If you are referring to the "coolant sensor switch"---it is located in the back of the "head" nearest the fire wall. It can be difficult to get to and remove/replace. You will need to remove a few items to make room to get hand & tools on it. I had to remove the brake cylinder (but not disconnect the lines), several vacumn lines, a harness bracket and a few other items. You can use "bunge cords" to hold these out of your way. Either drain some of the coolant out --or be ready to catch with a pan, when you remove the existing sensor switch.
