Your alternater needs checking if it charging, Auto parts store can check it, or a mechanic.

if it is a pluged that would cause check engine lite to come on and have codes in OBD

Code 28 means there is a problem in the circuit for the transmission selector switch. The engine computer does not know what position the shifter is in.

The firing order is: 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8 From the left (front) bank of cylinders are number 2-4-6-8 and the right (rear) bank cylinders are 1-3-5-7. Engine firing order is 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8.

If it is actually the MAP sensor you are looking at then you probably have a defective fuel pressure regulator which is cause fuel to bypass and fill the intake manifold
