Sorry but ,you can't , dealer only . You would need $6000 dollar factory scan tool , GM web site subscription to gain programming info.

So no solenoid click or anything? IF the solenoid at least clicks but the starter don't spin then it could be the starter itself is getting hot and not wanting to work until it cools down. If it don't click then the same could be true for the solenoid itself. Do the lights dim when you try to start it? If not it could be the ignition switch itself is not making contact after it gets warm. The only way to know if you are getting power to the solenoid is to have someone turn the key to the 'start' position while you use a test light on the small terminal on the solenoid, I'm not saying this is absolutely the problem but I've seen these cases on different vehicles. look by the fuel tank

find the fuse box located under the dashboard open the cover and you will find printed inside or out side the cover for the location of the fuse you are looking for
or pull the fuses one by one to see which one is bad

it could be a blown fuse, check the fuses in the fuse box.......cheers.

The security icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. Might want to check fuses, if good then need to check for power at the blower motor with a test light. If no power, possible bad relay or broken wire. If there is power, you may bad a bad relay or blower motor.

Most likely cause is the brake switch has failed closed.

It vents through the fuel vapor storage canister. No vent tube. If you have filling issue see the dealer for diagnosis of the fuel vapor recovery system (EVAP).

Turn key to on position and wait until anti theft light blinks or goes out.May take 20 minutes for the system to relearn the key security chip code.

There is no fuse for the power seat's , has a circuit breaker ! Does your olds have memory seat's or just plain power seats ? If it has memory seats it has an electronic control module that comes into play . Don't think going after the circuit breaker would do any good , they seldom go out . But you never know ! You will find the power seat circuit breaker located here Relay Block - Body Left side of the dash, to the right of the I/P fuse block. You should test for B+ voltage at the seat switches , If none work your way back to the power source .

Buy the manual. A metric socket set and a wrench/set to remove the fan. Since you are doing it your self, you will still be money ahead from taking it to a garage. Tools,manual, and parts. around $150. Garage $400+

have a compression test done to check compression pressures and ring condition over heated engines leave the rings soft/broken and not sealing on the cylinder walls it will be rare if the valve timing changed from over heating==more likely a burnt valve

Pull the axles. remove the cover and drain. Remove the bearing caps. Be careful because some diffs will fall out. Other wise pry it out. Watch the shims on each side. Keep them to they're sides. Reinstall it.

Model year and engine ?

if your asking about on the sides of the motor there are 2 on each side.

Buy a cheap shop manual for this and more.

if you don't have a code scanner if u unhook battery for like 2 hours should reset
