check trans fluid quality & level?
if not up for sending to a repair shop and it is full, you will need to drain some of it out (about a quart) and try adding LUCAS Transmission oil fix,. it might do the trick -- about ten bucks at the auto parts store...

If the pump is working you can jump the relay and it will pump fuel. If the pump's dead then some pumps will allow fuel through, it's worth a try.

the filter is on the frame., drivers side. The pump is inside the fuel tank. the problem wont be the filter, but you should replace it anyhow when replacing the pump. be sure to check the fuse and relay. the pump should come on when turning the key on, for 2 seconds, and when cranking. sometimes you can rap on the bottom of the fuel tank and get the pump going. if that gets it going, you need a pump.

Under the hood and/or back left hand side in the glove compartment behind the assess panel.

Possible the ECM may be bad on your vehicle but generally the ecm supplies the ground signal. Make sure to test for power with a test light and not just a dvom or volt meter as it can give a false reading. You may have power or 12vdc but not enough amps to actually carry a load. As long as all the grounds are in order and you have current to power a load then I would definitely start looking at the ecm.

Most likely this is an out of balance tire. That is the first thing to check. It could be a suspension problem as well but that is less likely.

If it isn't on the LH side underneath the motor check under the hood on the drivers side fender.

have never seen filter completely blocked your pump may be running but fuel not making it out of tank there is a line from pump to top of hanger unit that may have ruptured the pump is down in tank and it has lines going to top where the fuel lines connect i would remove fuel tank take out the pump unit and inspect

Any dash lights outages? Common wiring problem in some GM steering consoles cause this type of problem. Also I have heard of distubutor failures. You should see a SES (service engine soon) light on bad crank position sensors.

disconnect the red battery cable from the battery. jack up the truck, then find the starter it is where the engine and transmission come together, then on the top of the starter is the solenoid on the back of the solenoid the are wires, you need to unbolt these, but remember where they go go after you unbolt those take out the starter bolts they run vertical through the front of the starter to the engine block. there should be two bolts take them out and watch out so you dont get hit in the head when you remove the last bolt.then reverse to install.

the fuel pump relay is on the driver side firewall its a bracket with two relays on it. the relay closes to the fender is the one for the fuel pump. if you want to do a quick test of the relay is to run a jumper wire from orange wire to the grey wire you pump should start working.if it does work then replace the relay. if it doesnt work. run a jumper wire from the battery to the grey wire if the fuel pump still doesnt work replace the fuel pump, however if it does work you have a short in you wires. a good back yard fix for this problem is to run a wire from the battery to the orange wire. hope i didnt confuse you let me know if you need more help.

Fuse , relay , fuel pump , check these in that order.

bad dimmer switch for dash lights. pop em out with a screwdriver,unplug it,and replace with one from autozone for around twenty bucks. these things are notorious for this happening.

if it has a single fuel line the regulator is built into the fule pump/sending unit, on systems with return lines the regulator will be on the return line

Good choice single stage is so under rated. Spies Hecker has a kick *** single stage 270 series and so does BASF. Its all to do with UV if you live in the north it will last 10 15 years in the south maybe 5. Keep it out of the sunlight and it will last 4 ever
