Fuel ? problems '93 olds cutlass ciera
Is it possibly your TTC solenoid? We had the same problem with our car where it would stall out after being driven for awhile and brought to a stoplight, but would restart without a problem.I unplugged the ttc thing and plugged the hole and it hasn`t given us anymore grief at all.Nothing will happen to your engine from having it unplugged but I would advise covering the end of the plug with something as well as the female part it plugs into, just to keep road grime, etc out of it.Hope this helps!,...Ron
Headlight fuse
The headlights get power thru a built-in circuit breaker inside the headlight switch, and the switch gets power from a fuseable link wire.
The heavy red wire acts as a fuse if overloaded.
Excessive emission
Tune ups can radically change emission output due to the burn ratios. By burn ratios I mean the ratio of air, fuel mixture and time/amount of spark. If your burning to much or not enough fuel due to one of the fore mentioned it can cause nasty emissions. Not enough spark causes the ignition of the fuel to be delayed and hence a increase in the amount of fuel burned upon ignition, which increases bad emissions. Exhaust leaks or the catalytic convertor being well used are both culprits also. Exhaust leaks cause particles within normal emissions to solidify within the exhaust (most commonly carbon) then down the line they heat up and burn away into bad emissions. There is always some carbon build up within the exhaust system which is what the catalytic convertor is for. It acts as a filter to scrub away the carbon and other nasty particulates from the exhaust gases. Some of the particulates within will burn up due to normal use and create bad exhaust so when the convertor has a significant build up it needs to be replaced. A plugged catalytic convertor forces the engine to burn exhaust with the air and fuel when mixing which is not a good idea because it retards the engine (definitely bad for the environment and the engine - and the pocket book). I have seen a cheap and seemingly mundane fix work on numerous occasion, simply replace the gas cap. It has to due with the cap making a seal. If it does not seal properly the tank can suck in air during usage which lets more air into the fuel lines when pumped, which in turn increases the air to fuel mixture when sparked. That is always the cheapest fix but keeping up all other things with regular maintenance all really help the environment. Without proper testing it is impossible to guess what the actual culprit is but I hope this has helped both you and the environment.
Location of engine thermostat
It is located on thetop front of the engine. Look for a radiator hose running to the engine block. You will see a housing which the hose connects to. It will look similar to this. Remove the 3 bolts and lift the housing and you will find the thermostat.

High idle
Possible vacuum leak, misadjusted throttle or faulty idle air control motor.
90' cutlass ciera 4 cylinder won't turn over
Could be a bad starter. Try tapping on it with a large screwdriver or hammer, then try starting. If it starts that time, bad starter.
If you know how to jump the starter solenoid to the starter motor, you could check starter operation. On the solenoid is a purple wire. Use a small screwdriver (key off, car in park) and bridge that post with the purple wire to the large battery terminal on the starter. If starter is good, it will start cranking the engine. If you just get another click, the starter is bad, assuming the battery cable connections are clean and tight.
Where is the relay switch for the power door locks
Hi Friend: Your Circuit Breaker for your power door locks are located in your fuse box, its Located Left Side of the drivers side instrament Panel, Which it pulls Down for easy Access. Just lock at the Diagram or labels right where your fuses go in. . I hope this has helped you. Please let me Know if this has Solved your Problem. Thanks From d_hubbs
Wont stay on
Sounds like your "Idle Air Control (IAC) valve is not working to raise RPM when engine is cold.
It is possible that the wires to the IAC were not reconnected when the MAF sensor was replaced.
It is also possible that another sensor, like engine temp sensor, was not reconnected after the work. Look carefully in the area around and under the MAF.
All else fails, the IAC is bad and needs to be replaced.
