To remove the cup holder/ashtray in a 2004 Mazda MPV, you can follow these steps:
  1. Open the cup holder/ashtray and locate the small tab on the right-hand side of the unit.
  2. Using a flathead screwdriver or other suitable tool, gently press down on the tab to release the retaining clip.
  3. While holding down the tab, pull the cup holder/ashtray unit towards you to release it from the center console.
  4. Once the unit is free, disconnect any wiring harnesses or light bulbs attached to it, if applicable.

Got code505 and my front exhaust gets cherry red

The two may not be related. The 505 code is for the IAC motor in the intake of the engine. Most often the cause of cherry red exhaust manifolds is unburned fuel getting into the exhaust and burning there. This can be due a a bad spark plug, plug, wire or coil causing misfires resulting in unburned fuel being ejected into the exhaust stream. It could also be due to a cracked or broken intake or exhaust valve. This would result in low compression in a cylinder, causing a misfire and having the same result.

My van is overheating and the heater is not blowing hot air.

Possibly the thermostat is locked closed not allowing the fluid to circulate after it gets hot. The water pump might also be nonfunctional, but sometimes a bad water pump will leak.

My airbag light flashes three times then pause then one flash the car is a Mazda MPV 2004 ? did have the battery disconnected for reparts atford dealer would think they would have reset it but now try

They probably forgot to connect something. Look around where they were monkeying around and check for dangling connectors. If not, it could be a 'code' for the airbag, get it back to that dealer.

My mazda mpv 2004 keeps discharging my battery, what could be wrong with it?

many things can drain the battery: a weak battery connection, a faulty component, or a small short. check to see if the braking lights stay on after you have exited the car. I know how that sounds, but it could happen that the braking pedal switch is loose. just an idea. best luck to you.

How do I install an infant carseat in the 2004 mazda mpv

Is it a LATCH type seat? The best location is the middle row. There is an anchor in the rear bottom where you can clip the tether. The rest of the seat is secured by threading the warbler through the rear of the child seat.

I have a mazda 2004 MPV and need to make a spare key.Does it have a chip in it ? or can I go to Home depot and get a spare made ??

It appears that this key has a chip in it. Check with a dealer or certified locksmith. You can also buy a key blank online and then have someone cut it for you. Some locksmiths will do that and some won't.
