How to change the freeze plugs in a 1987 dodge ram van
I'm in the UK ..if by freeze plugs you mean core plugs (as they're known in the UK) it's relatively straightforward.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Assorted-Metric-Cup-Core-Plugs-Material-BS1449-Zinc-Plating-CR4-Qty-60-/201159025436?hash=item2ed603231c:g:MTwAAOSwQItT~4gNLocate the plug(s) and use a thin chisel or flat bladed screwdriver - punch through the core plug and lever it out.Clean around the area where the new core plug will go, put a smear of sealant around the rim of the core plug and where it will fit.Push the core plug into place by hand and then use a hammer to give it a hard tap in the centre. This will 'spread' the core plug to ensure a tight fit.The link below is Ebay (UK). It is included just to ensure that freezer plugs and core plugs are the same... Don't forget the smear of sealant...
