My 2000 jeep started doing this and found it was the driver door wiring , it goes used a lot and the wiring goes bad , also stereo speakers on the same line started to go bad. I just removed the fuse to the power lock and all is ok. Just dont have power locks anymore unless you want to pay $$$ to fix it or you can fix it yourself. Mine started to unlock and re-lock, something you dont want......hope this helped a little.

Probably loses either gas or spark. So check fuel pressure when it won't start, and check for spark on a plug wire. If fuel pressure is low, probably a bad pump. If no spark, diagnose the ignition system: coils, ignition coil control module (ICM), crank position sensor, etc. An easy way to see if you lost gas, is to spray carb cleaner or starting fluid into the air intake while cranking engine. If it rumbles and tries to start, you know it is a fueling problem.

An engine needs 3 things to run...air, fuel, and compression....but they also need to happen at the correct time. If you have verified that the engine not only has enough fuel pressure to operate the injectors, but that the injectors are firing. That all of the spark plugs are getting fire, and that each of the cylinders have enough compression to run. I would think you have to check your timing marks.

check acc fuze and cig lighter check to see if anything else is not working, check for power to switch.

My thought would be to look at the u joints and drive line. When driving the car and it makes the thumbing sound shift to natural, if the sound stops it is probably in drive line.

Sounds like the air conditioning system is low on refrigerant. Low pressure switch is causing it to stop working, OR, the HIGH pressure switch is doing it. I have seen OVER CHARGED systems act this way, also.

Do the basic tests. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?

It depends on why it is stuck,. There is a cable in the door that raises and lowers the window. IF the cable is misfed on the roller or it is jammed on a pulley then you cannot move the window at all by pulling on it. If the cable is broken or has slack then you could raise it but it will fall back down.

Stuck is 2nd means it's in limp in mode. Get the trouble codes scanned to find out what's going on.

Check the fuse for a/c compressor make sure it is completely pushed in slot then check wiring going to the high and low pressure switchs also if you have electric fans on radiator make sure it comes on when you turn on the a/c that would most likely be the cause of intermittent a/c issue also check plug on compressor if it was a lack of freon it wouldn't work at all

Make sure battery has a full charge. If it cranks good but won't start, check the basics. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. If your missing everything, I'd check the cam and crank sensor signals. I realize you replaced the crank sensor. Any applicable trouble codes? I don't know what testing you have done? With idle issues clean the throttle body and idle air control, see if it helps? Could be other issues?

The crankshaft sensor is behind the timing belt cover just above the harmonic balancer

What u need is the right air/ fuel combo, fuel pressure, injection, spark plugs spark, compression, exhaust and all of the proper computer control readings. Timing etc. Scan the ecm & start w the basics. don't keep throwing parts into it. Good luck

I believe the factory originals are champion brand, and would have been platinum, but it should still run decent with the coppers. The only thing I can think of is they are of the wrong gap. Copper plugs do not come pre- gapped at all and need to be done by installer. The gap for your stratus, if it's a 4 cylinder is .050. Wrong gap will cause no power and shaking. Correct champion number in copper is #443, and should say that on the box/plug.

Plugged catalytic converter , have the exhaust back pressure tested .
