Chrysler Cam Sensor Replacement

Disconnect the large tube that goes from the air cleaner to the engine. When you look into the engine where the hose was removed....that is the MAF along with a couple of other sensors. There is a spray cleaner for MAF sensors. Follow the instructions on the can and NEVER touch the thin wires you see on there.

Three places they use to hide them. On the front of the fuse panel, on the back of the fuse panel and hanging off the steering column under the dash, close to the firewall. I don't know the year they started, but the hazard switch has the flasher built into it.

Solenoid pack needs replaced. I twill only get worse.. More codes.

First thing I would do is first day it warms up and starts put some fuel conditioner in the fuel tank you might have water in the fuel. That will if gets in the fuel filter will freeze and prevent fuel from getting to the engine. As to why it will start unless its cold out side. That would be the first thing I would try. Good luck.

how many miles on the engine? When was the last time the spark plugs where replaced? what does the coolant temp sensor read when it does not start? what does the IAT sensor read when it does not start? does it have spark when it does not start? what is the fuel pressure at when it does not start? Hi Ray, concerning your miss while turning, the advice I have is to check your wiring into your coil. Sometimes dirt or a loose wire will do that. Always have your car in park and disconnect the negative cable on your battery. hope this works for you!

Could be egr valve

Probably doesn't have one. My 99 caddy does not, and I thought they started using these in later years.

Take it to a different mechanic.May be brake fluid.

There are a variety of things that can cause this issue. However, the most common would be electrical. I would suspect a faulty crank sensor or ignition coil causing the problem.

0605 is for an Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error. This is typical of a malfunctioning computer. If the computer is bad, your retrieved codes are probably wrong anyway. May need to replace computer, drive, then see if if your check engine light returns.
