'97 dodge inteprid 3.5. Just replaced the timing belt and I can't get the cam marks to line up with the rear covers. Do they eventually line up?

If the belt is installed and tensioner set, and the marks do not line up, you will need to do it over. All three marks, crankshaft and both camshafts, MUST be lined up for the valve timing to be correct. Once set properly, they will not change. Every two revolutions of the crankshaft, all three marks should again line up exactly.

Fuel pump wiring diagram

My phone is not listing the model, make, or year. That will help. When you buy a pump they usually tell you which color to attach the new harness to. If that is the issue. Sorry if this posted twice

Error code po700,po733,po734

That would be P0700, 733 and 734 The P0700 is a TCM failure. The others are related to the shift solenoids. Gears 3 and 4. You may have a shorted solenoid pack. Don't throw parts at this have a qualified tranny shop diagnose it.

What side is #1 bank

Standing at the front of the car looking at the engine the passenger valve cover should be closer to the radiator than the drivers side valve cover. That makes the passenger side bank #1.

After jump starting my intrepid, the car went wonky. The headlights flashe on and off, the driver window went up and down, and the doors locked themselves.

Under low voltage conditions the body electronic control module along with the power control module (PCM) the main computers in the car can get crazy, There are actual procedures to maintain power to the vehicle when changing a battery. What you need to attempt to do is to reset these modules. The simplest way is to remove a battery cable for at least one hour to allow the modules to drain down any stored energy in their circuits. . Disconnect your battery positive cable and let it set for at least an hour. Then reconnect the cable and turn the key on (do not start the vehicle) and let the computer relearn the settings. Give it at least 20 seconds then start your car. This has worked for me in the past With out depressing the gas pedal start the engine. Allow the car to idle for several minutes before attempting to drive. During this reset many times the idle air gets reset and the engine forgets where the idle set point is. If this happens it can take up to eight miles of driving for it to reestablish the idle set point. What we are hoping is the body control module has also reset. If so everything should be back to normal. If not only the dealer would have the specific computer interface to reset. 26111991-lkayiuev2pawqft0guju1hyb-3-0.jpg
