Most of the modern fuel pumps are automatic and the switch is part of the pump, inside the tank. There is power to the fuel pump whenever the key is turned on.

There are bushings that go bad. They are available from a parts store. Ask or look under the HELP! section. the cowl panel will need to come off. replace ALL of the bushings.

remove wiper arms and then you can raise the hood to remove screws that hold down the vent panel.
now carefully remove vent panel.

The fuse panel box is to the right of the glove box with the glove box door opened or beneath the instrument panel (dashboard) on 1989-93 models. For 1994-96 Pick-ups, it is beneath the knee blocker panel.

For Headlights check Fuse 20Amp.

• You have an Automatic Shut Down Relay or "ASD Relay" not so much a "switch." The ASD relay inside the power distribution center which is under the hood on the left corner of the engine compartment. Under the lid is a legend that will pinpoint it's location in said box. I would look at this if your having problems with the fuel pump. Should you need to replace the pump the tank must be dropped for this vehicle.

3.9L V6 engine firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2, cylinders on the pass side front to back are 2-4-6, cylinders on the driver side front to back are 1-3-5.

It is located on the top of the bell housing at the rear of the engine towards the passenger side. Not fun to get to, but only has one 10mm head bolt holding it to the engine block and a rubber O-Ring that you will need to break loose. Make sure you get all of the old O-Ring out of the block and put a thin coat of lubricant on the new one when installing to help it go in.
