POWER HAS TO FLOW TO & FROM BATTERY , +POSITIVE SENDS POWER, -NEGATIVE BRINGS IT BACK TO BATTERY, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ? MUST COMPLETE THE LOOP !!! CHECK BAT TERMINALS, CLEAN & TIGHTEN. CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS FOR STARTING CIRCUIT , LOOSE WIRES , FRAYED WIRES, BROKEN WIRES ,, BARE WIRES SHORTING OUT ON METAL SURFACES,, TAKE YOUR TIME, ONE STEP @ A TIME, KEEP IT SIMPLE ! YOU WILL FIND THE PROBLEM, BE POSTITIVE, ITS REALLY SIMPLE ! GOOD LUCK

You unbolt the fan clutch from the water pump pulley.Is that your question ?

Battery Cable?To the engine blockIf a V8 there should be a threaded hole near top of motor on battery side for the negative cable

Its a 3.9 V6 by the way.If its an automatic trans, have you checked the neutral safety switch ? Will it crank in neutral ?Are you getting power on the small wire at the starter solenoid coming from the key switch ?
