Transmission leak
First off, check the transmission fluid level. You have to do this when the car is at operating temp. It might just be overfilled. If its ok, then I suggest just like the insurance companies tell you; get at least 3 estimates. You will save yourself a bit of money in the long run. Good luck to you.
My 2000 corvette won't crank up---no lights
I would take the battery cables loose and actually verify battery is not leaking.
If "security" is causing no start then you can tell by watching the
security lamp on dash. It should be on solid when key is turned to run
if it is part of your concern. also sounds like you could have a body
control module problem it controls the interior lamps which may explain
clicking you heard and also controls the security.Keep us updated.
Service Active Handling, ABS and Traction Control Lights on
I have had exactly the same problem on and off for 3 years now - and just solved it last week thanks to another computer site. Remove and disassemble both grounds from the top of both the left and right frame rails adjacent to the front corners of the engine block. Completely clean the green corrosion from the internal parts with fine sandpaper and add dielectric grease then re-assemble. Clean the mounting bolt and frame hole while you're at it. Sounds time consuming and difficult, but it ain't. No more than 45 minutes combined. I am a technical airhead so if I can do it so can you. What clued me in was the problem always occurred around wet or humid weather. Also, the clock would always lose time overnite. That has ceased also. Good luck. Anyone know why my left headlite, when deployed, vibrates and shimmys??? Sully

I have headlights and brakelights
Replace the light control switch and if it is a separate adjustment the Dash board or Interior light brightness adjuster. Most likely it is the Light switch so start with that. This assumes all interior fuses and fuses and relays in the power distribution block under the hood are good.
Passenger brake lights do not
Hi, there are several reasons why your passenger side brake light won't work.
It might be a connection from your brakes lights that are just loose or dirty. If you look at your right tail lights, unscrew then off. Check the wires for anything bad, try using another bulb, check the fuse.
The brake light assemble may even be faulty and needs replacement so you have to check these things one after one after the other to know the main source of the problem...
