I have a 2002 park Avenue. It will run for a short periods but it will not recrank. I have replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump but the problem still exist. Can anyone help me?

HelloThe Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

Key won;t go into ignation on my 2002 buick park ave

It is possible that the tumblers in the ignition need lubrication. I had this problem with a boat ignition. Spray a small amount of break free, or WD 40 or graphite penetrating oil into the slot and slowly work the key gently into it. A drop of oil in the slots of the key won't hurt.

When my car is at idle or at a stop, sometimes the car will shut off or the car will jump. Whats wrong

There is nobody that can tell you what is wrong without first DIAGNOSING the problem with your car. There are many things that can make the engine stall. There are also many things that can make and engine "jump" or "surge". All that can be done without proper diagnosis is GUESS. Guessing will most likely cost you a lot more money than having the problem diagnosed by a professional.

That plastic tube/elbow is a very common issue with these vehicles. To replace it you have to remove that whole bracket which houses the tensioner.
