do you have a sun roof, if so start there, because there are two hoses at the back corners of the roof pan that allow water to drain, if they leak, they will soak the rear floorboards, and if not that check the door jam seals.(note that if the plugs on the floor are missing that will be verry hard not to have wet carpet)........let me know?

Are you sure it's the motor and not a wiring issue? Test the motor FIRST. See link below This is a cable driven window regulator. If you can reach the bolts that attach the glass to the regulator, just remove them and the glass will be free. If you can't reach the bolts, you'll have to cut the cables to free up the glass. when coasting to a stop do you have your foot on the brake if so , test the brake booster for a vacuum leak simple test put the hand brake on and start the car idles ok ,--no problems put your foot on the brake idles ok --not the booster engine stalls , falters ---brake booster failure

ALL the windows share a common ground, this could be your problem. The ground wire originates at the driver's switch and goes back through the harness to the door, and into the cabin where I think the black ground wire may ground on a frame or bracket in the left kick panel. Just after it comes in from the door. You'd have to look behind the kick panel (foot well) covering to look for the ground screw. There could be a couple other ground wires there too. Or take your meter and check the integrity of the ground wire at the switch. Either use the ohm function or do a voltage drop test to check the ground.

i had a similar problem last summer my engine was revving very high then would shut off as to protect itself or air problem, but i found that i had a bad valve cover gasket after replacing it the problem corrected itself. the high revving was caused by too much air being drawn into the manifold with bad gasket easy fix. just remember to tighten new gasket every other bolt opposite sides as you tighten not all at one end first good luck

Without a scanner, it's hard to do. You can check power and ground at the CC module. But that's about it. Pull the CC plug and clean it. Most times it is the CC module that dies.

If you have a center brake light in the trunk lid. This is how the water gets in the well. I silicone all them. Sometimes the rear spoiler will let water in also. I also drill a hole in the bottom to drain the water. Sometimes there are plastic plugs you can pop out under the spare tire.

Well, you have a gasket leak around the trunk lid is my opinion. Check the rubber seal around the lid for tears or missing pieces. You can get a new gasket at any parts store. And a wet vac will take care of the water in the trunk. Good luck
