Remove the flathead screws

This has happened to me.. Are there any lights on on the dash?? this is a very common issue in GM vehicles. Your car make and model are on the list for this. It has to do with the security system failing.. if you take it in they will charge you an arm and a leg.. I do not know the exact answer.....but one way to find it is to turn on the hazard flasher and follow the sound...they are usually located in the same area.

Crank sensor, ignition module or fuel problem. Crank is under the harmonic balance and the module is under the coils packs , check fuel pressure and fuse.

what you mean is the car turns over won`t fire/start. you need to find out if you are missing fuel or spark. check for codes. if you have no fuel it maybe a pump or plugged fuel filter. if you have no spark then it could be many things. like crank/cam sensor, poor wiring or connections, poor plugs, wires, ignition coil, even possibly a computer. check the first 3 things and go from there.

look under the exhaust manifold of the bank facing the front bumper you might need a mirror to find the wire connections.. its easy to drop out. Make sure you replace the wires exactly as taken off.

you need to have your vehicle hooked up to a code reader, autozone can do this for free, get codes and see what they say, once repaired the same code reader can clear them and turn off the light

Throttle position sensor circuit insufficient activity. that is what the code reads in the book. Probably a bad throttle position sensor.

Should be torque specks in the workshop manual.

check it

Get the codes read. you will get a better idea of where to start testing to repair this one. Most auto parts stores will do this for little or nothing. Please get back to me and we can trouble shoot this together.

I am assuming you have a floor/console shift and not a column shift. Most often this is caused by spilled coffee or soda pop in the console. Wash the end of the shift interlock cable with warm soapy water (warmer the better).

It is most likely two separate issues. Check your brake light switch for proper adjustment or replace if defective, for your brake light problem. Maybe there is a wire disconnected or bad door switch/connection for the radio issue. Good luck, DW.
