The problem is caused by the electric motor that operates the power lock in that door, this motor is inside the door and will need to be replaced to correct the noise issue..

there is only one thing that causes this problem, and that is the gas gauge sending unit in the gas tank is defective.

they just might be right but get a book and do it yourself not that hard. this will save you money. If it takes you some time you will keep money in your pocket. Feel free to write back and I will help you through it if you decide.

First off, you don't have to remove the WHOLE INTAKE MANIFOLD. If you look closely, you'll see that the intake manifold is a two piece setup(Upper Intake, Lower Intake).

You will need a new gasket after removing it. Don't be cheap either, get one that is reusable.

First, remove the air intake from the restrictive airbox, then remove the bolts from the center portion of the intake not from the heads!!!(This is not a Chevy so the car's parts made on this intake is for people like us to work on)

After removing the "Upper" intake and everything else including any hoses, you may successfully remove the intake and lay it aside and guess what, you can replace spark plugs.

Replacing the front three is a no brainer so I'm not getting into that LOL. NOW, I HIGHLY suggest to go ahead and spend the extra $20.00 or $30.00-$35.00 if you was performance gains and better/longer performance usage, and get you some plug wires too. You only want to do this once (For a long time).
Do not use any other spark plug but an NGK brand, NOt an AC Delco although they call for it too, I wouldn't go with them. These stout V8 killer motors produced were specifically made for high performance.

Sorry to say the only way to get that is through the dealer. get your vin number and call the servicve department. if they will not help then call another dealer.

I had to do this with my Saab and the first dealer wanted like $50 and I had to come in. The 2nd dealer was very helpful and gave me the code over the phone. After that i went to the 2nd dealer anytime i needed parts.

its near the crankshaft pulley. under the timing cover.

the ground connection from the headlights to the vehicle's body is either very poor. Run a new wire from the headlight's ground wire to a good ground point

Does your engine temperature guage read normal? Have you checked your coolant level? This can be the result of a partially seized thermostat... there is also a valve in the heater core lines that can seize partially closed. As the engine speed increases, the water pump can force more water through the partially closed component.

inside the radio is a miniature bulb that back-lights the display, this is true of all radio's, in fact they all use the same tiny bulb, these do burn out from time to time, u will need to remove the radio/CD unit and then pull the top cover off, inside just behind the display u will find a small twist in socket that contains the bulb, u can buy this bulb at any full service auto part's store for about $2

get your heater core checked out. the heater core is right by the blower motor and if its busted it will blow the smell into your car.

if it is anythang like the 2002 eclipse gt stereo there is 2 button on the right side of the display screen hold the right one down and it will change the mins and the other 1 will change the hours

its by your intake manifold on the bottom of the engine block. there is a heat shield covering it which will need to be removed to get to it

if you look behind the right front tire just in front of the fire wall you sould see the drain about 1/4 to 1/2 way up but if your drain works fine and you still get water in the floor your heatercore has sprong a leak and will need to be replaced

the heator core has gone out this is a divise that uses hot coolent from the engine to heat the air that blowes tru your vents it is located behind the glove box some times it's tricky to reach look under the hood to find 2 hoses running side by side in to the fire wall on the passenger side to pin point the location

You will have to call Mitsubishi for the code if it's not in the Owner's Manual (like my wife's wasn't). Call Mistu with the VIN# and Serial# of the radio at hand.

To get the VIN number, check the bottom of the front window.

For the Serial # from the radio: Remove the two screws under the center console. There is one on each side of the console (you may have to lay on the floorboard to see them clearly). Then pull out the two air vents from the center console (this will help you get a good grip for the next part). Hold the edge of the top of the console and the air vent for either side and pull it towards the rear of the car. I had to wiggle the console pretty vigoursly to get both sides out. Be sure not to pull it too far from the dash right away because you'll need to disconnect the hazard light switch prior to completey removing the console cover. Once that is disconnected you can safely move the console cover. This will expose the mounting braket. There two screws on the side of the mounting braket for the radio. Just unscrew those and you can remove the radio and see the serial number on top of the radio (you may also be able to see it if you just look in the space above the radio while it's still in the mounting braket but I wanted to make sure I had all the numbers/letters correct and didn't have to go through this again). Just do everything in reverse (don't forget to plug the hazard light switch back in!) to get it all back together.

you need to get the serial number off the radio and call the dealership , they will give you the code

how much are they talking? I have hears of a lock actuator ( door locker .lol. ) I dont know they have one on me. Tell them to show it to you in the manual or parts book and where it goes.
