Radio says off
You will need to go to the dealer with a VIN number and proof of ownership to get the radio code. This is a theft deterrent built into alot of cars now. Either that or get an aftermarket radio installed.
What color is the intale air temp sensor wire on a
There are two wires for the intake air temperature sensor.
The sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow sensor near your air filter.
Pins 5 and 6 (wire colors brown and red/blue respectively) of the MAF connector are for the air temp sensor; Pin 6 is the 5V reference voltage from the ecu, pin 5 is the return signal (ecu input).

I worked at a Subaru garage when a lady came in with this problem. She would drive somewhere turn the car off, and the car would not start anywhere from an hour to a day. Took a while but finally figured out that the security system got misconstrued and was not reading the chip in the key all the time. I reprogrammed all of her keys and the problem went away. Her car would not even crank over when she would try and start it with the key, so if your car cranks over but wont start it might have something to do with a relay instead or a solenoid.
Replaced battery now wont idle
hold revs up for approx 5-10 seconds then slowly bring back to idle if it still stalls have to adjust air bleed screw in throttle body to adjust idle speed
ECU needs to relearn must put in gear then turn on a/c while in gear idling and then turn on head lights then put in neutral while other things are on then turn off all things and go for drive
How to get the key out of th ignition?
is the steering wheel hard over to the left or to the right ??? if so turn wheel hard so you can move the ignition switch...if thats NOT the case there is a lever that some cars come with on the left side of steering colum that you have to puch down so you can turn key back to original posistion to remove....

Bad earth circuit, check that the battery is grounded, and any other ground connections. ( ground = chassis/body of car) Asmost of the electrics are "switched" on the + side and the indicators are switched on the - side then the grounding is "forced" through the indicator circuit, giving you on/off electrics, check all connections and clean any rust, re connect and cover with vasaline to protect.
Changing out Front Blinker bulb
I didn't realize how simple it was:
take out the ONE screw in the blinker cover.
pull it from the connector.
twist out the black cover around the bulb.
twist out the bulb.
replace with new bulb and i think the rest is pretty obvious!
I had my car worked on and i guess he tried to
I had the same problem, but it is easily fixed. When you have an hour to spare, and a safe place to leave your car with the key in the ignition, just do this:
1) Put the key in and turn it to the first position that allows the radio to come on (power windows to work, etc,), but do not crank it.
2) Then press the power button on the radio so that the word "OFF" appears.
3) Then just leave it alone for about an hour. This will reset the radio and return it to the "CODE" screen so you can re-enter the code properly. Be sure you have the correct code--you can get it from any dealership as long as you have the VIN # and the radio's model and part #, which is located on the rear or the radio. You will have to remove the radio for this, but it is very easy--just about 6 philips head screws. Good luck. I did this, like the Mitsu dealer said, and it did bring it back to the "CODE" screen, but it won't let me enter the code now. Hope this helps--I'm looking for answers to resetting the radio right now and came across your question and thought I'd try to help.
