Most likely its your speed sensor.. change that and you should be fine.. i had the same problem like a week ago..

Your message is incomplete,but anyway I will give you some advice and check it. If you mean that you had a problem with the Oxygen Sensor and on removing it you damaged the threads,surely you will have a check engine light on even you renewed the sensor because fitting the sensor in a broken threads you will have a leak and the sensor will not measure correctly the emission. what to do? go to an exhaust fitter and ask him to clean the hole and just weld a nut same thread of sensor and fit it correctly. If is that what you meant.

spark plugs and wires or a fuel pump

I really don't have any greatly detailed step by step procedures here. In the pictures below is you can figue out how to remove the different items (cover plate, cental console...) do it in order by number stated below the picture. Also in the laxt picture, there is a picture of the SRS-ECU (electronic control unit for the airbags). Be VERY VERY careful not to jar it or bump it.....be careful on other words. Make sure you disconnect the negative battery terminal before you start but there is still stored energy in the vehicle and on your vehicle I have seen a couple of times when the SRS-ECU was bumped the air bags deploying by accident. I have some factory Mitsubishi service manuals on PDF at my shop and if I remember (I'll try), will look to see if there is anything about removing the center console & will post if there is anything. The other stuff is pretty easy if you are mechanically inclinde. Hope this helps a little anyway....

PURPOSE:This bulletin describes the operation of the evaporative emission control leak detection system and how to diagnose diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) relevant to this system (DTCs 183, 184, 187, 160, and 161).

I think the whine you hear while turning the steering wheel is a P/S system that's low on fluid or a P/S pump starting to go bad.

The rattle under the dash could be anything from loose change to a loose component.

Sounds like the bulbs have burned out, you will probably have to replace them. Most auto parts stores can point you at the right bulb for your car, and some can even show you how to replace it.

You have to pull off the front bumper, there are two bolts behind it that you cant reach.

i take my center console off all the time and the wires on the back of the lighter come off real easy, the black one i believe is the light bulb so you need to turn it to pull it out, then when you go to put it back, line the nobs up then turn it when its back in.

An easy way to test your spark plugs is to:1) remove 1 of the spark plug wires from a spark plug2) stick a small screw driver into the wire where it would attach to the spark plug3) holding the handle of the screw driver, hold the shaft of the screwdriver within an 1/8" to the frame4) have someone else try to start the carYou should see a spark jump from the screw driver shaft to the frame. This will let you know if you have ignition at the spark plug.

I would check and replace the thermostat if it is bad, recheck the connections of the heater hoses to the heater core, and if none of these are bad, the heater core is most likely gone bad. Also, depending on where the overflow canister is, and if the radiator cap has gone bad, it might be letting too much antifreeze out of the system and overfilling the overflow canister.
