Try a tune up. Replace your air filter,belts,hoses,plugs and such. The first thing i would replace is the fuel filter.

Yes, I believe you're on the right track when thinking the solenoids are going bad. It could also be a module for the transmission, if so equipped.

WELL I HAVE MANUAL TO AND I HAD A THE SAME PROBLEM AND I TOOK OFF THE STICK SHIFTER AND THEIR SHOULD BE A SLOT THAT THE SHIFTER GOES IN AND THE BALL OF THE SHIFTER RIDES ON A PLATE , IF THAT PLATE IS NOT THEIR YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THAT PLATE SO THAT THE SHIFTER CAN PROPERLY SHIFT.

the fuel pump relay is on the top driver side of the firewall near the brake fluid res. there is going to me 2 relays on a bracket bolt ed to the firewall. i cant remember which it is off the top of my head. but it is one of the 2

YOU NEED TO USE FUEL INJECTOR NOID TEST LIGHT OR A STETHOSCOPE TO CHECK ALL FUEL INJECTORS TO SEE OR HEAR WHAT FUEL INJECTOR NOT WORKING.USE TEST LIGHT IF BLINKS FUEL INJECTOR GETTING POWER.THE STETHOSCOPE USE IT LIKE A DOCTOR TO HEAR WHAT FUEL INJECTORS WORKING.YOU SHOULD HEAR CLICKING NOISE IF YOU HEAR NO INJECTOR NOISE AND IT IS GETTING POWER.THE FUEL INJECTOR IS FAULTY.

You mean it jumps out of gear? The dogs on the gears are worn, You need to get in there and replace either one or two gears to fix the problem, I would check out the whole thing while you are at it, It is a fairly easy fix, but If you have trouble with screwdrivers, you will need a mechanic. The tranny will need to be dropped, and the shift mech removed, and get the view of the gears meshing before taking it apart. It might not be easy to see, sometimes they don't look worn, but the slightest little bit of edge gone will cause it to jump, those things are pretty tough. Sometimes just being a bent shaft or shift yoke, will do it, sometimes a shim is gone and the gears don't mesh right, check the oil for pieces of teeth or any metal bigger than a chip or flake. Check it out, hope this helps.

ummm, make sure you didnt bend any valves by the pistons hitting them when the belt was broken

the scanner you are using is prob. the wrong scanner

DOT 3 brake fluid

if stick shift check the clutch pedal switch
if automatic try cranking while shifting through the gears
often the shifter linkage is out of adjustment
