There is a point that a machine works and a point that it stops, you need a transmission rebuild.

Check fuel pressure,and filter,pump could be faulty also check fuel pump relay.

test the fuse with a multimeter set to resistance ,then turn ignition on and with fuse removed check for a 12v supply on the fuse ..ie earth neg and pos to the fuse holder ,if you have power and fuse is ok then suspect the fuel pump in the tank ..1993?? it could be worn out

If you have a manufacturers manual,it should tell. If not your local auto parts store should beagle to tell you.

You can bench test a starter. But be warned it jumps when the jumper cables are applied.
Take and put the nut from the battery cable connection back on. Put the Positive battery lead of the jumper cable on that. Hook up the jumper cables to a good battery. Touch the negative battery cable to the mounting housing of the starter. A quick touch is all you need to do. If the starter is good it will will shoot out the starter drive gear and spin freely. The starter will jump and twist.

Sounds like a fuse. Check all of the fuses in the fuse box located under the dash next to the driver side kick panel and under the hood.

I've seen them with over 300,000 but it just depends on how well you take care of it. If you keep up on the maintenance and do preventive maintenance it will last a long time.

All Mitsubishi cars pretty much hide the water pump under the timing belt. You should buy all new belts for the car and if you have 150,000+ miles consider replacing the water pump at the same time.You will have to take off the power steering belt, the alternator belt, the upper belt cover, support the motor, take off the motor mount, jack up the right front corner of the car, take off the front right tire, take off the engine plastic under cover, line up the TDC timing mark, take off the lower pulleys, take off the lower engine cover, observe the timing marks/arrows and highlight with paint, take off the timing belt, counter balancer belt if there is one, and now you can unbolt the water pump, scrape the gasket, and replace it. Now the good news, if you have tools,a compressor, an air gun(for lower pulley bolt), patience , and four to eight hours to kill, you can actually save money and do it your self.

To access the water pump you have to take off the timing belt. It is buried under the timing belt covers, below the motor mount.If you have to replace your water pump, replace all of your belts at the same time because you will have to take them all off, plus the covers, the right tire, plus the right motor mount(support the motor). Do not let any one charge you labor for replacing the belts on this job because they all have to come off.

It sounds like the water pump belt under the timing belt is broken or the pump is not circulating the anti freeze the way it is supposed to.Did you replace the water pump, water pump belt, and timing belt when you replaced the head gasket? If a vehicle is over 100,000 miles it is recommended to replace the water pump while doing the timing belt just because the pump is such a pain to get to under the timing belt.

it sounds like the low water light in the radiator looks like a tub with water waves and a stick , sticking out one side, check the expansion bottle to see if you have water in it, if not just top it up that should make light go out...

Follow top radiator hose to engine and unbolt the housing this hose connects to and you will see thermostat inside.
